The Levite was the magazine of the John Watson Club, the society formed to keep former pupils of John Watson’s Institution (later John Watson’s School) in touch with their alma mater.

With the first issue appearing in 1903, he magazine is rich in images, recollections and school news. The WS Society archive holds issues between 1903 and 1918, and further issues from 1939-1945. These are in the process of digitization and will be added here in annual editions as the digitizations are completed.
